Mickey's is more than just hot dogs...

Paul Barlas, a dedicated immigrant from Corinth, Greece, arrived in Ontario, Canada at the young age of 16. Over the next 22 years, he honed his skills in the Chicagoland area as a busser, dishwasher, and cook. His big break came in 1980 when he acquired the former Finn's Fishery building at the intersection of 111th St. and Oak Park Ave. This marked the beginning of a remarkable journey, as Paul and his eldest son, George, have proudly owned and operated Mickey's Hot Dogs, a cherished South Side landmark, for over 40 years.

Family is at the heart of Mickey's Hot Dogs. Paul, George, and their children continue to serve the Worth community with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support from our loyal patrons, as well as those who stumble upon our establishment by chance. Our success over four decades is a testament to the love and encouragement from the community, and we couldn't have done it without our incredible customers! #ThankYou
